Scoutmaster Conferences
Whenever you complete the requirements for a rank you need to have a Scoutmaster Conference. At this meeting the Scoutmaster will review the requirements with you to make sure you have done everything you need to earn your next rank, including showing Scout spirit and contributing to the troop. They will also help you set up the goals for earning your next rank.
This is also the time for you to share with the Scoutmaster your own thoughts and concerns about the troop (how things are going from your viewpoint, what you would like the troop to do next, ideas for new trips, concerns you would like to share, etc.).
Contact the Scoutmaster when you have completed the requirements for a rank to schedule a Scoutmaster conference. Early rank conferences may also be held with an assistant scoutmaster if the Scoutmaster is not available.
