troop committee

While Troop 119 is boy led, adults play a major role in keeping the troop going and our Troop Committee is where you can play a role in 119's ongoing success.

The Troop Committee meets once a month during the Scout year and roles for committee members include:

* Organizing summer camp
* Finance and accounting
* Management of troop equipment
* Organizing scout trips
* Recruiting new scouts and adults

... and more.

We welcome parent participation in all aspects of Scouting, but a contribution of time and effort in a committee role provides one more way for you to have fun, meet other committed adults, and give back to Scouting.

Contact an adult leader to learn more about participating in the Troop Committee.
