» Troop 119 Earns 2010 Centennial Unit Award
Troop 119 has earned the Centennial Quality Unit award for 2010.  In order to earn the award, the unit must have trained leaders, a record of growth, a solid record of advancement for the boys, and an active camping program.  Give yourselves all a pat on the back for a job well done!
» BSA Scout Shop

The closest Scout Shop to Lexington is at 400 Washington Street, Woburn. It is in Cummings Park across from Staples. Take 128 North to Washington St. exit, turn right onto Washington St, and right again into Cummings Park across from Staples.  #400 is at the end of the first building on the right.

The hours for the store are M-F  9:30 AM – 6:00 PM and 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturdays.  The store is closed on Sundays.

Youth Protection Training

Youth Protection training is designed to help you keep our youth safe from abuse. You will learn the Boy Scouts of America’s Youth Protection Guidelines, signs of abuse, and how to report suspected abuse. After each section of material, you will answer questions about that section’s topic. This course must be completed to earn the “Trained” emblem. Estimated time to complete: 40 minutes.

Adults who wish to chaperon camping trips are asked to take this course.

Fast Start: Boy Scouting

This is the first training step for all new leaders and should be taken immediately after they register and before they meet with any youth members in the troop. Following this training, you will understand the basics of the Boy Scout program and will have the necessary tools to oversee your first troop meeting. Den Chief Training

This online class is recommended for 1st class scouts. It takes 30 minutes and cannot be saved half way through so make sure you have time to finish before you start. Den Chief Training is required if you want to help out at Cub Scout meetings as your position of responsibility.
